Eligibility, Fees and Rules

Elibibility for Burial

Burial in Magnolia or Everitt cemeteries is primarily reserved for those whose address was inside Magnolia Community for at least 10 years (see Community Boundaries below).

Burials is also available to those whose address was outside Magnolia Community and who meet one of two qualifications:

was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church for at least 10 years or
had a spouse, parent, grandparent, or sibling buried in the cemeteries.

West—Winters Bayou

Deceased's Residence

Inside Community | $600
Outside Community | $1,000
Cremated Remains Buried in an Existing Plot | $90

Cemetery Rules

General Information

A grave area is 9 feet x 4 feet
Grave markers must be at least 7 inches x 14 inches
Cement benches may be placed at the foot of a grave
Removing dead and faded flowers in a timely manner is the responsibility of the deceased's family/friends

Not Allowed

Glass, ceramic or clay vases or containers
Wood markers or crosses
Planting of trees, shrubbery or plants
Pipes, stakes, wire brick or rock enclosures for marking graves
Disposing of flowers on cemetery or church property

Advance Plot Reservations

Burial plots may not be reserved before death. Contact a Board Member for additional information.
