Magnolia Cemetery Association offers two locations as burial sites: Magnolia Cemetery and Everitt Cemetery.
Magnolia Cemetery was formed in 1854 to serve the residents of Magnolia Community and sits on xx acres
Everitt Cemetery, located across from Magnolia Cemetery, is a 2-acre tract of land generously donated by Sharron Shirley Everitt in memory of her parents, James “Jim” Shirley and Marie Mizell Shirley, and by her husband, R. Dale Everitt, in memory of his great -great-grandparents, Isaphelia “Icy” Abregella Traweek Everitt and William Nyle Everitt, the first appointed postmaster of Everitt, Texas, in 1890.
All four of these individuals are laid to rest in Magnolia Cemetery.
